Sonakshi Sinha’s character name in OAUTIM Dobara changed

The makers of Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Dobaara were in for a surprise when they came to know that the character that Sonakshi Sinha was portraying as Yasmeen in the film, in fact, coincided with the name of yesteryear’s actress Mandakini (Ram Tera Ganga Maili) whose name in real life was Yasmeen Joseph. As the love story of this doe-eyed beauty with a notorious Don is no secret, the makers decided to promptly change her screen name from Yasmeen to Jasmeen and are re-dubbing the relevant portions in the film. A statement from the makers said they were oblivious to this fact and were "stunned by the coincidence." They have now changed Sonakshi’s screen name to Jasmeen. After all who wants unwanted controversies. The film has Sonakshi Sinha essaying Akshay Kumar (Shoaib)’s love interest.
