MUMBAI: Sridevi is a name that needs no introduction in the world of Bollywood for more than 4 decades she has mesmerized her fans with spellbinding performances in films like Sadma, Chandni, Chaalbaaz, Judaai and many more. The actress’s sudden and untimely death in 2018 left her fans numb and shocked, and sent shockwaves in the entertainment world.
At the age of 4 years Sridevi made her debut with the Tamil film, Kandhan Karunai. On her birth anniversary today, let us read about some interesting anecdotes about the late actress. Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor were Kapoor's two children at the time, and he was married to Mona Shourie. Despite being the stepmother, Sridevi could not distinguish between them and her three daughters, Khushi Kapoor, Janhvi, and Boney. The producer disclosed in a previous Filmfare interview how the Mom star would be in constant communication with all four of her children.
Boney revealed that he kept a check on all kid including Arjun and Anshula. He said, “Her priority is our children. She constantly checks with me about Arjun and Anshula.”
BOney called Sridevi a devoted wife and a loving mother. He said, “She’s always seen that the family remains together.” She would go the extra mile to keep the family together.
Sridevi passed away due to drowning in Dubai in February 2018 in her hotel room. It is still shocking news for many who cannot believe the Mr. India actress is gone.
