Sridevi does up her new home

It’s unlikely if not impossible that Sridevi, Boney Kapoor and their two daughters would be able to move back into their gutted bungalow before next year. They’ve now moved into their other accommodation earlier occupied by Prabhu Dheva. But the scenario for the Kapoor parivar is not as bleak as it appears. Their new home is amply spacious and the lady of the house Sridevi has taken on herself to do up the makeshift place like a second home. Says Boney, “We are yet to ascertain the exact extent of the damage to our bungalow. But the entire second floor and part of the first and ground floors are damaged. We will know the exact extent of the damage only after the entire home is examined. I don’t think we’re moving back this year.” The alternative accommodation is not at all cramped. In fact the Kapoor family has six bedrooms. Says Boney, “There are two adjacent apartments, one that Prabhu occupied and the other which was vacant. We’ve taken over both the apartments. So there’s ample space. Sri and my daughters are doing up the new place.” The family is just back from the Maldives. Pictures of them frolicking on the beach hit the internet. “That’s all my daughter Jhanvi’s doing. Aren’t we looking good together?” beams Boney blissfully.
