Struggling actress commits suicide

Bollywood can be a tough place to survive if you are a single woman leading a lonely life with not much work coming your way. Depression takes a mighty toll and you turn to the noose to relieve yourself of all your miseries. After Jiah Khan’s shocking death last year, news now trickles of an aspiring starlet named Saiyyam Khanna allegedly committing suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan of her residence on Sunday night. Saiyyam who was last seen in horror flick, The Haunted House, was apparently suffering from depression which is believed to have forced her to take the drastic step. On the fateful Sunday night, Saiyyam was present in her Yari Road flat along with her younger sister Riya. Riya was about to step out when her Saiyyam hugged her and expressed her love for her. She also asked her to eat dinner and go to bed after returning and requested to be left undisturbed in her room. Once Riya returned, she could reportedly hear Rockstar’s soulful Tum Ho being played in Saiyyam’s room. Believing that her sister had perhaps fallen asleep, Riya checked into Saiyyam’s room only to discover her dead body hanging from the ceiling fan. The police were called in and according to reports last received they had ruled out any primary suspicion of foul play being involved. A suicide note was discovered in which Saiyyam wrote that she was committing suicide on her own will and no one was to be blamed for the same. However providing a twist to the tale, Riya reportedly stated that Saiyyam was depressed due to her queasy relationship with her boyfriend who happens to be the son of a well-known actor and alleged that Saiyyam’s boyfriend used to assault and abuse her sister. Riya however didn’t want to file a police complaint since she doesn’t have the backing to fight for justice since her parents too had long passed away. While the police are yet to not smell any rot in the case, they are planning to question Saiyyam’s boyfriend as part of their investigation.
