MUMBAI: Actor and parliamentarian Sunny Deol was recently caught on camera losing his temper at the paparazzi in Mumbai, after what appeared to be a frustrating and emotional moment concerning his father, veteran film legend Dharmendra.
A video that surfaced online shows the Gadar 2 star visibly furious as he reprimanded photographers for their conduct while covering the family amid the actor’s health concerns.
Sunny Deol, known for his composed and private demeanour, was seen confronting a group of paparazzi stationed outside a hospital.
His anger reportedly stemmed from the intrusive behaviour of some photographers, who continued to click pictures despite the family requesting privacy.

In the video, Sunny can be heard shouting, “You people should be ashamed! Can’t you see what’s happening? This isn’t entertainment, it’s a family matter.” His tone was filled with anger and disappointment as he urged them to show basic respect.
He also questioned the media people that don't you have children and parents at hime he abused and said to stop taking video and to give some privicy.
Witnesses present at the scene shared that the actor had already been emotionally distressed due to Dharmendra’s hospitalisation.
Things escalated when some photographers tried to get too close for shots, prompting Sunny’s heated reaction.
A source close to the family mentioned, “Sunny sir was already under immense stress. When he saw the paps hounding the family, he couldn’t control his emotions. He simply asked for privacy, but things got out of hand.”
The video quickly went viral across social media platforms, with fans showing mixed reactions. While some criticised Sunny Deol for his harsh words, a large section of netizens supported him, agreeing that the media sometimes crosses the line during sensitive family moments.
Comments flooded online reading, “He’s right — people need to respect privacy,” and “Paparazzi should know when to stop.”
This incident comes shortly after Dharmendra’s hospital visit made headlines, following which the family had already appealed to fans and media to avoid speculation and respect their privacy.
Sunny Deol has long maintained a dignified image in public, often avoiding unnecessary controversies. However, his recent outburst highlights a growing concern among celebrities about constant media intrusion — especially during personal or emotional times.
