MUMBAI: The tragic demise of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput continues to haunt the nation, leaving millions heartbroken and seeking answers.
Five years have passed since the young and talented star was found dead in his Mumbai apartment on 14th June 2020, yet the case remains shrouded in mystery, with no definitive closure in sight.
Official post-mortem reports confirmed asphyxia due to hanging as the cause of death, ruling it as a case of suicide.

SSR’s Father Breaks Silence
In a recent interview with Republic TV, Sushant’s father, KK Singh, has once again raised concerns over the investigation, hinting at deeper, unexplored angles in the case.
Speaking about Disha Salian, Sushant’s former manager who had also met a tragic and untimely end just days before Rajput’s death, Singh remarked, “Whatever we heard while being in Patna was that Disha met with an accident. However, we were told later that she was actually pushed off the building. That is what we have heard.” His statement has reignited speculations regarding the possible link between the two deaths.
When questioned about Disha Salian’s father’s demand for an investigation into both cases, as well as the alleged involvement of political figures, KK Singh remained cautious. “Disha’s father was living in Mumbai, so only he must know about them. What can I say about something I have just heard?” he stated, refusing to make direct accusations.
However, when asked whether he believed that his son had died by suicide, Singh stood firm in his conviction. “I have mentioned this before, and I say it again—Sushant was not the kind of person who would ever take his own life.” He recalled his last conversation with the late actor, which took place over a week before his death, insisting that there was no indication that his son was in distress or contemplating such an extreme step.
The Unanswered Questions
The persistent lack of closure in the case has left Sushant’s family and fans in a state of limbo. When asked whether he was satisfied with the ongoing investigation, Singh expressed his frustration. “Until there is a specific conclusion, how can I say that justice has been served? Which father would not want the truth to come out?” he remarked with evident grief.
As the years roll by, the demand for justice has not waned. Supporters of Sushant Singh Rajput continue to rally on social media, urging authorities to reveal the truth behind his untimely death.
Both SSR and Disha Salian’s deaths remain an enigma, with their loved ones and millions of fans waiting for the final verdict from CBI and the judiciary.
