MUMBAI: Yesterday morning, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB)’s massive move surprised one and all. In the recent developments, NCB, who has been probing drug-angle in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, raided actress Rhea Chakraborty and actor’s house manager Samuel Miranda’s houses, yesterday morning. While Miranda was reportedly detained in the morning, Rhea’s brother Showik Chakraborty and Samuel were taken into custody by the officials, last night.
As the latest report in Times Of India, during their raid at Showik and Miranda’s residence, NCB is said to have found no drugs in their possession. The NCB officials reportedly said they have not recovered ‘any contraband from their possession.’ Before arresting the duo, NCB questioned them for almost 10 hours. Samuel and Showik will be produced before the Mumbai court, today. Earlier reports suggested, during his interrogation, Showik confessed to NCB that he used to buy drugs on sister Rhea’s order. NCB sources informed Republic that Showik claimed Rhea had allegedly asked him and Samuel Miranda to procure drugs and that he was allegedly in contact with other drug peddlers.
