Sushant Singh Rajput death probe: After Supreme Court verdict, CBI to record statements of the family again

As per sources, the CBI will record SSR’s family's statement again.

MUMBAI: It was on Wednesday that the apex court announced its verdict in the SSR case. The verdict brought a smile on millions of faces all over the globe, as it was ordered that the CBI will take over and there will be no intervention by the Mumbai Police. In fact, they will have to cooperate with the CBI and provide them all the necessary documents and help.

A CBI team along with a Special Investigation Team (SIT) has arrived in Mumbai today and will start their investigation immediately. The CBI has already recorded the statements of the actor's family members but will do so again post the SC verdict.

Meanwhile, the CBI will apply for an exemption from the ongoing quarantine rules if they will stay for more than seven days in the city.
