MUMBAI: One month into the tragic demise of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, and the Mumbai Police are making sure to leave no stone unturned in investigating the matter. However, if the latest reports are anything to go by, then the one person who is not to be summoned by the police for questioning is Bollywood superstar Salman Khan

It was only last week that the police called in Reshma Shetty - who previously managed Khan, for questioning that is said to have gone on for about five hours. Rumours then began circulating that Salman would soon be summoned to record his statement in the matter. However, according to the latest reports, these claims have now been rubbished by the DCP.

Those following the details of the case will know that Salman’s name was dragged into Sushant’s suicide case when rumours and conspiracy theories began doing the rounds on social media. While one rumour - that was later rubbished – claimed that the actor and Sooraj Pancholi were involved in the death of Sushant and his manager Disha Salian, another criminal complaint was filed by a Bihar lawyer against Khan and seven other Bollywood biggies alleging their involvement in abetment in the suicide.

The case was however dismissed citing “jurisdiction limitations.”

Sushant died by suicide on June 14. Marking one month of his death, fans and friends honoured his memory by penning a few words of love, offering poojas, lighting candles and more.

Among the many who paid tribute to the late actor were girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, former flame Ankita Lokhande, best buddies Mukesh Chhabra and Mahesh Shetty. Sushant’s former co-stars including Kriti Sanon and Sanjana Sanghi among many others fondly remembered “Sushi” and wished him peace.
