Sussanne Khan opens up about ex-husband Hrithik

Even though she’s not someone to openly discuss her private life, Sussanne Khan has finally spoken out about her divorce from superstar Hrithik Roshan. Reacting to the various rumours surrounding their separation, she said to a glossy magazine, "We had reached a stage in our lives where I decided that it's better we weren't together. It was important to be aware and not be in a false relationship. We are close (friends). We do chat a lot even though we don't hang out together anymore. But above all, we are very committed to our children. We are respectful towards each other. When children are involved, it's important to put our differences aside and protect them." Hrithik, who was married to Sussanne for over a decade, started drifting away from his childhood sweetheart (whom he met her at a traffic signal and it was love at first sight...much like his character Rohit from his debut movie 'Kaho Na Pyar Hai'!). Apart from allegations of his fling with Kites co-star Barbara Mori, it’s said that he reportedly fell in love with Kangana Ranaut, while shooting for Krrish. Even though the two were friends much before their superhero outing, they found solace in each other during the shooting of the hit franchise, gossip sites state.
