Tabu bags lead role in Mira Nair’s next

MUMBAI: Tabu, who has acted in myriad films and is an award winning actress, has bagged lead role in Mira Nair’s web film. 

Yes, you read that right. According to the latest media reports, the Indian-American filmmaker, who is known for directing films like Mississippi Masala, Monsoon Wedding, and The Namesake, will soon go on floor with her web film. The upcoming web film which will have a very interesting concept is scheduled to start with its first schedule in Lucknow soon. 

Produced by BBC Entertainment, the makers have roped in Tabu, who has acted in films like Chandni Bar, Maqbool, Cheeni Kum, and Haider, to play the lead role in the film.
