MUMBAI: This Diwali, Thamma, starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, is all set to make the festival more fun and exciting. The film is a unique mix of ancient folklore, heartfelt emotions, laugh-out-loud moments, and a touch of madness. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and produced by Maddock Films, Thamma goes beyond the usual horror genre, offering a story full of mythology, humor, and heart. It promises to be an entertaining treat for audiences of all ages.
The Maddock Horror Comedy Universe often has cameos of popular characters from their previous movies connecting to the new characters and movie. When asked Ayushmann Khurrana to spill the beans about special cameos in Thamma, he mentioned that he'd love to collaborate with his brother Aparshakti Khurrana who has been a part of same universe movies like Stree and Bhediya.
Talking about the same, Ayushmann said, "That's the point of having a universe. The concept of the universe is to enable characters to collide, meet and connect. That's how it will be fun. Let's see what happens with Thamma. Apart from that, I'm really excited to meet my brother in the universe. I meet him daily but it will be fun to collaborate with him through this universe."
Helmed by Aditya Sarpotdar and penned by Niren Bhatt, Suresh Mathew, and Arun Falara, Thamma brings together an impressive ensemble featuring Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Paresh Rawal, Sathyaraj, and Faisal Malik. Backed by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, the film promises a perfect blend of talent, creativity, and entertainment.
