THIS on-the-sets moment from Shakuntala Devi took Vidya Balan back to her school days

Vidya Balan has left no stone unturned to portray the role of Shakuntala Devi in her biopic.

MUMBAI: Vidya Balan is among the most talented actresses of Bollywood, and her choice of movies over the years has been remarkable. The diva has proved her mettle in acting by giving stellar performances in many movies such as The Dirty Picture, Bhul Bhulaiya, Parineeta, Tumhari Sulu, and Ishqiya among others. 

The actress is now gearing up for her upcoming release Shakuntala Devi. The film is a biography, and Vidya plays the titular role. 

We all know that Vidya leaves no stone unturned to make her onscreen character look extremely realistic. She knows how to get into the skin of her character and portray it beautifully.

During an exclusive chat with TellyChakkar, Vidya spoke in length about her shooting experience and how she recollected her childhood memories along the way. 

Revealing one such incident, Vidya revealed that there was a moment that took her back to her childhood days while she was shooting for the film.

Talking about the same, Vidya revealed that there is a song where she shot with several kids and they were making a lot of noise. Of course, that was bound to happen with so many little ones being around. 

This particular sequence from the movie made her go down memory lane.

Shakuntala Devi's trailer has recevied a wonderful response from the audience, and viewers now have a lot of expectations from the film.

The film will be released on Prime Video on 31st July.
