MUMBAI: Over the time, Atlee has become one of the major names in the South Indian movie industry and recently even in the Hindi movie industry with the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan. The director has left quite a mark with his movies like Their, Mersal, Bigil, Jawan and many more. Atlee is not just a director but also a writer, at times even a producer. As writer and director, he made his debut with the movie Raja Rani, while as a producer, he made his debut with the movie Sangili Bungili Kadhava Thorae.

Once again, as a producer, Atlee is coming back with another movie which will star Varun Dhawan. A while ago we saw the announcement and teaser of Baby John featuring Varun Dhawan, Wamiqa Gabbi and Keerthy Suresh. The project was earlier titled VD18 and then got renamed to Baby John. After the announcement of the movie, we saw Varun Dhawan’s first look and it reminded us of Badlapur as this time once again it seems that he will be portraying a serious role.
The excitement for Baby John has increased and now it is Atlee’s birthday today and none other than Varun Dhawan has wished him and it is one that will surely bring a smile on your face, showing his bond with the producer/director Atlee. Varun Dhawan has come a long way from being known as the son of well-known film director David Dhawan to showcasing his acting prowess in Bollywood. The actor has a number of big-budget successes under his belt, including his breakthrough film Student Of The Year, which also starred newcomers Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt.
Varun Dhawan made his acting debut in 2012 after working with Karan Johar on the film My Name Is Khan. He has appeared in numerous movies throughout the course of a career lasting more than ten years.
