MUMBAI: Veere Di Wedding was one of the most successful movies of the year 2018. The movie starred Kareena Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar, and Muskaan Khubchandani in the lead roles. The story was unique and different from the usual films that are made, and for the first time, there was a movie made on four female friends and showcased their journey.
As per sources, it will have a sequel, and the shoot for the movie will begin in mid-2020. Sonam Kapoor and Kareena will be returning back to the franchise.
Nikhil Dwivedi has confirmed the news and said that the story is ready. In the first part, we saw how stereotypes were broken and the girls truly lived their lives as they wanted, so it will be interesting to see what they offer in part two.
