MUMBAI : According to reports, Bollywood actor has been replaced by popular South actor Vijay Deverakonda for a big brand. Apparently, Vicky Kaushal was supposed to represent this brand as their newest brand ambassador until he was replaced by Vijay. The South actor has seemingly attracted the attention of this brand more than Vicky. Sources say that the brand in question is actually a well-known soft drink brand, that is even endorsed by Shah Rukh Khan. But now, Vijay Deverakonda has been signed in his place.
The source further revealed that Vicky had even shot a few parts of the advertisement, but it was later scrapped and his deal with this brand was deemed void. Unfortunately, the exact reason for this replacement is unknown. Apparently, even Vicky wasn't aware that Vijay was replacing him. Rumours say that the Liger star has got a fat paycheck to take on this endorsement, and it seems like the brand has got their money’s worth. Recently, Vijay Deverakonda was in Mumbai, and was busy shooting for two to three days in film city for this particular advertisement. The owner of the brand has shown his appreciation and is content with the results. He cannot wait for the world to watch it, says the source.
Vicky Kaushal is very well-known for his acting skills. There is no match to his acting. But when it comes to selling himself as a brand image, he has shied away and shown his disinterest in doing so, says another source close to the actor. He believes that he is a performer, and even if he loses out on some endorsements, it's not a big deal for him. But if he loses a good film then he feels the pinch and the need to work and put in more effort, as he always works toward being the best actor there is.
