MUMBAI: In November 2019, Vikrant Massey and Sheetal Thakur announced their engagement following a four-year relationship. Three years later, they celebrated their union with a secret marriage ceremony at their Mumbai home. The couple excitedly revealed their pregnancy last year, and Vardaan, their baby boy, was welcomed into the world in February.

Vikrant Massey expressed his gratitude for Taapsee Pannu in an interview with the renowned news portal ahead of his next film Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba. He revealed that the actress was among the first friends and coworkers to visit and bless his son, calling her act "truly special."

“It was a Sunday and she drove all the way to my home. That was really wonderful," he adds. Vikrant further praises her, saying, “There’s no one on this earth who can bully Taapsee. Jokes aside, she’s genuinely sweet and kind."

In Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, Vikrant reunites with Taapsee in a sequel that delves into the lives of Rani and Rishu, who struggle to escape their troubled past but face new obstacles with the arrival of Abhimanyu, played by Sunny Kaushal. The film explores intense themes of love, which Vikrant views differently.

He explains, “While the early stages of romance are exciting, true long-term relationships require settling down. Finding peace in each other is crucial. The more serene the love, the better it is."

With Haseen Dillruba's 2018 victory, Vikrant is still reaping the rewards from his most recent movie, 12th Fail. Despite the gratitude, he stays grounded and says, “I cherish every compliment and positive response. It’s what I work hard for. My family and I celebrate a good film for a bit, and I’m always eager for the audience’s feedback—good or bad. Constructive feedback is always appreciated."

Vikrant added, “I’ve learned to distinguish between constructive criticism and baseless negativity. If I receive repeated feedback from the public, I take it seriously and reflect on it."
