Vir Das has as many as seven films lined up for release

Stand-up comedian and actor Vir Das, who was last seen in Aamir Khan’s Delhi Belly, has as many as seven films releasing this year (2013). Though, Vir had made his acting debut with Mumbai Salsa and followed it up with films like Namastey London, Love Aaj Kal and Badmaash Company, it was only on the Aamir Khan home production that he came into the eyes of the masses. “For me Delhi Belly was a nice booster in my career. I was flooded with offers soon after the film released. I had signed five films by August 15 and Delhi Belly had released in July. That is the kind of response that the film created for me,” Vir told us in a chat. "I thank Aamir Khan for giving me this film and I got to sign five films in 45 days. Now I am trying to find balance with stand up standup comedy and movies," he added. The stand-up comedian-actor will be seen in Go Goa Gone, Super Se Uper, Amit Sahni Ki List, Gollu Aur Pappu, Tigmanshu Dhulia's Revolver Rani, Santa Aur Banta' and Pritish Nandy's Shaadi Ke Side Effect.
