Vishal Mahadkar set to direct a horror film for Vishesh Films

Vishal Mahadkar, who made his directorial debut with Vishesh Films’ Blood Money, is gearing up to direct a horror film which will feature newcomers. This film will also be made by the Bhatt brothers (Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt). The movie will go on floors in January next year (2014). Said the director in confirmation, “Yes, I am making a horror film but can`t reveal too much about the project. We would go with newer star cast but we haven`t decided the names yet.” Vishal seems to be certainly on a high as apart from the eerier project, he is all set to direct a crime thriller as well. “I am working on a script. It’s a crime thriller. Neither it’s a gangster film nor has it been inspired from anywhere; it’s a fictional story.” The yet-to-be-titled project will be a two hero film. Vishal has been associated with the Bhatts since a long time. In 2005, he was an assistant director in Kalyug, in 2006, he did Woh Lamhe as the first assistant director while for the 2007 made film Awarapan he was the chief assistant director. And in Raaz: The Mystery Continues, he was the associate director.
