MUMBAI: Actor Vishnu Manchu, who is set to share the screen with Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar in the highly anticipated film Kannappa, recently engaged with fans in an #AskVishnu session on Twitter. While most questions revolved around the upcoming film and their collaboration, one comment took an unexpected turn.
A user remarked, “Do you know that Akshay Kumar has the most number of disaster movies?” seemingly attempting to undermine the actor’s success. Vishnu, however, responded with grace, stating, “I also know he is one of India’s biggest superstars.”
He further praised Akshay, adding, “Wonderful actor. And he has got impossible comic timing.” His dignified reply not only shut down negativity but also reinforced his admiration for his co-star.
Directed by M. Mohan Babu, Kannappa promises to be a cinematic spectacle, blending mythology with cutting-edge storytelling. The film is set for a grand worldwide release on 25 April 2025.
