Katrina Kaif once again proved why she is one of the most dignified actresses in Bollywood today by standing up for Deepika Padukone and backing her in the cleavage controversy.
In an interview given to a leading electronic news channel Katrina when asked about Deepika's cleavage controversy said, "Without saying anyone is right or anyone is wrong, actually I haven’t exactly gotten into the details of it...I do think that anything trying to exploit or show something in an unpleasant manner or make a spectacle of it, is not necessary. I think it is avoidable.”
Katrina also pointed out how photographers at times have the tendency of going overboard by shooting from angles that invade their privacy.
“You know there are many times, a slightly different example, where a girl, like you are wearing a dress right now and you may get up to go somewhere, and a photographer is on a low end of the stage, and they will click a moment, where say may be your shorts are visible, or something underneath your dress is visible, and they circle that and put that. That I actually feel that it can be avoided,” Katrina said.
Ironically, when Katrina's bikini pictures from Spain were flashed all across the internet last year, Deepika had taken a jibe at Kat by saying, "It has never happened with me. I believe if you are a celebrity or public figure… these things are bound to happen. And I don’t think you can accuse anybody of anything. If I am a public figure and if someone has captured me then I feel I should have been a little careful."
Well, Deepika cleverly did a double take on her own principles by creating a ruckus when she became the victim of unruly paparazzi pictures. Thankfully, Katrina who could have easily got back at Deepika this time thought it wise to stand by her in these troubled times. Certainly, very dignified, we say.
