MUMBAI: The highly anticipated romantic action drama, Tere Ishk Mein, starring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, has secured its certification from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with surprisingly few changes, allowing the film's intense romantic and action sequences to remain intact for its upcoming release.
The film, directed by Aanand L. Rai, is already creating significant pre-release excitement, with some reports even suggesting a double-digit opening based on booking trends.

The good news for fans is that the board only mandated one minor change for the entire feature.
A reliable source commented on the process, stating, "Tere Ishk Mein has a lot of fights and intense romance, as evident from the trailers.
The CBFC usually asks for deletions in the action scenes, certain fiery dialogues or intimate moments.
But with Tere Ishk Mein, they have not asked for any visual cut at all. Only one dialogue has been modified."
The official cut list confirms this lenient approach: one "obscene" word was replaced with an appropriate substitute at the 27-minute mark.
The only other requirements were the standard addition of the anti-smoking static message in Hindi and the blurring of a liquor brand label visible in a scene.
Following these minor modifications, Tere Ishk Mein was granted a U/A 16+ certificate on November 24th.
The final length of the film, as noted on the censor certificate, is substantial: 169.17 minutes, which translates to 2 hours, 49 minutes, and 17 seconds. The film is set to hit cinemas on November 28th.
The recent trailer launch event, attended by Dhanush, Kriti Sanon, director Aanand L. Rai, and producer Bhushan Kumar, provided more memorable moments.
During the event, Dhanush charmed the audience with his candid remarks and even sang for the fans.
When asked about his connection to his character, Shankar, Dhanush humorously replied, "Nothing. Really. I am nothing like Shankar!" In another highlight, the actor offered a stylish, philosophical take on romance, stating, "I think love is just another overrated emotion!"
The film is now fully prepared for its release and aims to surprise audiences with its dramatic scale and minimal censorship.
