Ayan Mukerji's next action-adventure film titled Brahmastra has reportedly been under production for over two years now. The film was originally scheduled to release in December 2019 but was later pushed to the December of 2020 and an extended shooting schedule.

As per sources, it seems that the VFX of the movie is taking a long time and that’s one of the reasons why the movie is been delayed by a year. It is not the first time that the Brahmastra release date has been postponed. Earlier, the film was slated to release on August 15, 2019. But then it was postponed to Christmas 2019, citing incompletion of the shoot. On Maha Shivratri this year, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, along with director Ayan Mukerji, marked a new era in Bollywood by launching the logo of the film at the Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj.

When Alia was asked why the movie was delayed the ace actress said that Good things take time, and that’s why the movie is taking too much time to release.

Well, this will be the first time that Alia and Ranbir will be sharing screen space together and the fans are excited to watch them.
