MUMBAI: Jatadhara, presented by Zee Studios and produced by Prerna Arora, has made a strong impact at the box office right from Day 1. The film, starring Sudheer Babu and Sonakshi Sinha, has earned ₹1.47 crore on its opening day, marking an impressive start for a Telugu-origin film that released simultaneously in Hindi.
This supernatural action drama, which combines spirituality, mysticism, and grandeur, seems to have connected well with audiences across languages, and the reviews are positive. The word of mouth is surely to translate into the good box office numbers over the weekend, cementing the film’s position at the ticket window. The film’s unique premise, Sudheer Babu’s intense and commanding presence, Sonakshi Sinha’s menacing avatar, and gripping narrative have set the tone for the film’s solid weekend. What makes the numbers more exciting is that despite the film being a primarily Telugu origin film, it is flexing its muscles in the hindi belt too.
The film also stars an ensemble cast featuring Divya Khossla in a special appearance along with Shilpa Shirodkar, Indira Krishna, Ravi Prakash, Naveen Neni, Rohit Pathak, Jhansi, Rajeev Kanakala, and Subhalekha Sudhakar.
Presented by Zee Studios and Prerna Arora, Jatadhara is a bilingual supernatural fantasy thriller that is produced by Umesh Kumar Bansal, Shivin Narang, Aruna Agarwal, Prerna Arora, Shilpa Singhal, and Nikhil Nanda, with Akshay Kejriwal and Kussum Arora as co-producers, Divya Vijay as Creative Producer, and Bhavini Goswami as Supervising Producer.
Backed by Zee Music Co. for its powerful soundscape, the film promises to be one of the most ambitious and visually stunning cinematic experiences of the year, an epic tale of faith, destiny, and the eternal battle between light and darkness.
