It’s shocking!! O Gujariya, the youth based show launched by 4 Lions Films for Channel V is shutting shop, and that too in an abrupt manner!!
And this comes soon after the maker and channel took the major step of replacing the lead girl Snehal Pandey with Swati Negi. To add spice, they also brought in the macho man Shaleen Malhotra as the new lead on the show.
But nothing of this could help decide the fate of the show!!
A reliable source from the set told us, “The cast has wrapped up shoot of O Gujariya yesterday (28 September). The show will end this week. Huge creative differences between the channel and production house laid to the abrupt closure of the show. Also, the very low ratings did not help the show’s sustenance.”
Well, here is a preview to the climax of the show.
We hear that there will be huge drama in the coming episodes with Vaibhavi (Swati Negi) being kidnapped by Veer (Shaleen Malhotra). Veer’s Chief Minister father (Deepak Chadha) will vow to nab his son. But the climax will reveal that Veer would have kidnapped Vaibhavi to protect her from Siddiqui and his men who would have been planning to kill her. With this, it will be happy ending!!
We tried contacting Producer Gul Khan on this sudden development, but did not get any revert.
We also tried talking to the channel spokesperson, but could not reach them.
However, a cast from the show on terms of anonymity did confirm the show’s closure.
