Ek Boond Ishq tribute: Lead Viraf Patel shoots video

Viraf Patel
People come, people go, but what they leave behind are heartwarming memories. And actors while filming a show bond immensely with the cast and crew members. Recently, Life OK show Ek Boond Ishq was pulled off air. And the show’s lead Viraf Patel was left with a void in his life. But rather than weeping or complaining about it, the actor chose to honour the show and the entire team in a beautiful way. And his iPhone surely gave him a lot of support. Wondering how? Well, the actor got together his team and shot them talking about the show and their attachment with it. Apart from all the actors, the 20 minutes video has writer- co producer Saba Mumtaz, producer Myleeta Aga (BBC) and Channel Head Ajit Thakur also sharing their feelings. Shared Viraf, “I love people and getting to capture their perspective and emotions was definitely an interesting try. I was touched to see how they shared their emotions on camera for me and I was waiting for the right opportunity to share the video with them.” And the right moment came at the wrap up party of the show, where amidst teary eyes and smiling faces, the team watched their journey come alive. “It was a satisfying moment for me to see them so happy. The video also acts as a photo album and I hope it keeps us all connected forever. Everyone surely seemed moved by it and it was a special experience for me,” quipped the good looking actor. Ek Boond Ishq was Viraf’s first daily show and he said that it will always be special to him. “I must say the fans are to be thanked for making our show reach great heights, I am touched by their encouragement and support throughout our journey. This video is also a gratifying tribute to my audience. I really hope they keep on wishing the best for us.” And finally when asked when we will see him back on TV, the actor quipped, “There are some people who want to work with me and there are some who I want to work with. But I haven’t yet taken a call but personally I feel I have been born to romance and thus would really love to do a romantic show with a great story.” On a parting note, Viraf thanked Tellychakkar.com. “You guys have helped us to connect to our audience and been there all along; so thank you.” It is our pleasure Viraf!
