MUMBAI: It's the day of Rakshabandhan and a lot of Indians in India and around the world are happily celebrating this day. Rakshabandhan was about the beautiful bond a brother and a sister but with time, while the tradition remained, the definition evolved and now it's not just about a brother protecting his sister but just about a pure feeling of protection.
This means it's not just about brothers and sisters but even sisters tying rakhi to sisters and pet owners tying rakhi to their pets. One such case is of Hunar Hali who celebrated this rakshabandhan with her pet dogs Amigo and Bratt. That's right! Hunar Hali really chose the cutest way of celebrating this day.
In an exclusive interview with Tellychakkar, Hunar Hali talked about her pets and why she chose to celebrate it with them.
When asked about which pet dog came first, Hunar Hali said, "First Amigo came into my life and as they say that if you have one dog then you should have another one too so later came Bratt. So first came Amigo and then came Bratt for his brother Amigo. It's just so that they can give each other some company."
When she was further asked for why she chose too tie rakhi to her pets, Hunar Hali said, " At the end of the day rakshabandhan it's about celebrating a bond and the bond that you share with our pets is very unique. You have a different type of relationship unlike any other relationships. Your pets care and protect you. They make you feel valuable. So every relationship is two way right? If your pets love you unconditionally then as a pet owner a mother or a father it is your duty to give them that same amount of love back. So this time my rakshabandhan is going to be different because tying rakhi to them my name's that it is a promise that I will protect them, I will take care of them as long as I'm alive."
Hunar Hali has been in the TV industry for a while now and she was last seen in Thapki Pyaar Ki on Colors tv. She has previously appeared in shows like Chhal Sheh Aur Maat, Ek Boond Ishq, Dehleez, Patiala Babes and many more.
