Megha Gupta
Sony PAL’s Khushiyon Ki Gullakh Aashi, produced by Miloni Moviez usually deals with case stories parallel to the main protagonist Aashi’s (Hally Shah) life. In one such interesting story, popular actress Megha Gupta has been roped in to essay a challenging role. She will play the role of a psychotic woman who would be suffering from a split personality. A source states, “Megha will play the character of Jigyasa Tyagi, a married woman with a small kid. Jigyasa would always harbour a fear that her husband is trying to harm her or even kill her. Living with this fear, Jigyasa would at times get psychotic, and this will be when Aashi will enter her life in order to help her get a solution.” We hear that Aashi will find out that Jigyasa is affected by split personality, as a result of which she would have the fear in her. Megha’s track will go on for two weeks or so, and she has started shoot. When contacted, Megha told us, “Yes, I am shooting for the Sony Pal show. In fact, I have been getting quite a lot of offers for negative roles, but I have been apprehensive in taking them. When this role of the psychotic personality came by, I thought that I need to experiment with such a character and see whether I am able to carry it off well. And now that I have been into the skin of the character, I should say I am doing it pretty well.” Megha has appeared in TV shows Kkavyanjali, Kumkum, Mamta, Main Teri Parchhaiin Hoon, Maat Pitaah Ke Charnon Mein Swarg, Yahaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli. Megha’s track will go on air from tomorrow (15 November).
