Let us tell you that Indraneil is making his comeback to small screen, playing the negative role of Shukracharya.
Talking about the role in brief, Indraneil shared, “Yes, this time, I will be seen playing a negative role on-screen. I am playing the role of Shukracharya who is very smart and powerful. My look in the show is also very different and appealing.”
Why are you seen playing only negative roles now? “Now-a-days negative characters are well-edged and more powering than positive roles. I see more graph and scope in negative roles.”
You have been in the industry for quite some time now, how content are you as an actor? “An actor can never be content. I don’t like watching my own shows and films. And I don’t think I have done a good job yet.”
Who is your biggest critic? “Myself and my wife Barkha.”
Why did you choose to make a comeback with this show? “I like the concept of finite series, as the focus remains on the main story and doesn’t go off track. There is a definite start and end to the show. It’s better than daily drama where you can excuse yourself from leaps and ageing.”
Have you done any special preparations for the role of Shukracharya? “There is a physical requirement in the show. But thankfully I have always been into fitness, so I didn’t have to do anything special for it.”
