Media has been speculating over the last few days about Karan Patel, the lead actor of Star Plus’ Yeh Hai Mohabbatein quitting the show.
Playing Raman, Karan’s being said to have thrown in the towel to take up hosting assignment in the channel’s other venture, Nach Baliye.
Yes, Karan will go missing from action for sometime in the show, but our credible sources inform that he has not cut the cord from Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.
Karan, over the next few weeks, would be busy anchoring Nach Baliye along with Rithvik Dhanjani and also look forward to spend some quality time with his to be wife, actress Ankita Bhargava.
The two are expected to tie the knot in May, 2015.
Coming to the show, Raman being out of the scene, the makers (Balaji Telefilms) will play the track of Subbu (Amit Tandon) and Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi).
“Karan will be away but he will return in the show for sure after a hiatus,” said a source.
We tried to reach Karan for a confirmation but he remained unavailable for a comment.
