It’s time to wish all the lovely Parsi stars of television as we are celebrating the Parsi New Year, Navroz, today.
And on the special occasion we caught up with the cute, talented Delnaazz Irani, who is celebrating the first day of the Parsi calendar with family.
Currently seen in Big Magic’s Akbar Birbal, Delnaazz shared, “This year we are not doing anything special. Like every year, even this time I will spend time with my closed ones and will have family lunch. In the evening we will go out to watch a play”.
So any special menu today? And the pretty lady quipped, “Generally everyone thinks that special Parsi delicacy means preparing Dhansak, but for us it’s a regular dish. And on any auspicious occasion we prepare authentic Mora Daal Chawal which is prepared with ghee, garlic and is served with rice and fried fish. And today is no exception for us, as we will have that for lunch. And for dinner we might turn to Sali Boti, which is a Parsi meat dish”.
