'Diya Aur Baati Hum' completes 1,200 episodes

At a time when finite series are becoming popular on Hindi television, Star Plus' primetime TV show “Diya Aur Baati Hum” has logged 1,200 episodes - the last timed with Diwali. In its fourth year of telecast, the show has witnessed various ups and downs in the lives of its lead pair Sandhya (Deepika Singh) and Sooraj (Anas Rashid). The actors have enjoyed their time on the show, which is about a loving husband who helps his ambitious wife achieve her dreams of becoming an IPS officer. "The journey on 'Diya Aur Baati Hum' has been phenomenal. Our entire team works day in and day out to ensure that every episode continues to entertain the audiences.
