Ashita not abandoning Ladies Special

Actor Ashita Dhawan is currently entertaining the viewers with her jovial act as Malti in Bidaai and as the fiery Babli in Ladies Special simultaneously. And personally too she is on cloud nine these days. Reason - She is all set to take the sacred vows with her beau Saillesh Gulabani. However her impending D day, that’s early next year, has created a lot of confusion amongst her fans. As per the current track of Ladies Special, Ashita is shown suffering from cancer and apparently the terminal disease would finally kill her. It is this track that has left her fans aghast. She is receiving innumerable phone calls and messages on social networking site asking her whether her character is being bumped off on purpose due to her wedding. Clearing the air, Ashita says, “I am surprised as my fans are thinking that it is due to my wedding that I have chosen to opt out of the show. But there is no truth to it. I am very much a part of Ladies Special. This is a very beautiful track and is similar to that of Rajesh Khanna in Anand. In fact, I consider myself extremely fortunate to play such a promising role. I want to clear that I am not at all quitting the show and would request my fans to keep watching the show as it only gets better and better.” According to sources Ladies Special has got an extension of six months and the story will now focus on Babli (Ashita Dhawan) and her Bunty (Saillesh Gulabani) who is paired opposite Srijita De in the show.
