I hate to charge my phone: Shivya Pathania

Shivya Pathania is the latest sensation in tellydom.

Sexy and svelte, all of 24, she has become the favourite of the masses, thanks to her powerful portrayals of lead characters in shows like Humsafars and Ek Rishta Sajhedari Ka (from the stables of Rajshri).

“I am blessed that I have gotten opportunity to work with Kavita ma’am (Kavita Barjatya of Rajshri). I am grateful to God and hope and pray that I continue to work hard and entertain my fans for years to come,” smiles an excited Shivya.

Being Sony TV’s ‘go to’ actress, Shivya is a modern girl and quite a technology aficionado. Given her ever rising number of fans, she uses her smart phone to good use to stay connected and updated.

“We shoot for long hours and tend to get tired. My smart phone comes handy as a recreational tool and also to socialise. Earlier I was not too active on social media but now, thanks to my fans, I am logged on most of the time. I also click photos, watch videos on Youtube and upload pictures on Instagram,” shares the actress.

When you are using your phone constantly, battery tends to die too often, much to everyone’s dismay. Do you face such issues? “I do, all the time. And I have to charge my phone again and again. We need phones with better battery back-up.”

We understand!!!

Imagine a scenario wherein you try to reach out to your loved one and at that very moment his or her phone conks off. What do you think or imagine at that point of time? Do you get a bit jittery?

“Well, I tend to get a bit worried, but not to the extent of being extremely jittery. I maintain my calm and try to reconnect every now and then, until I finally manage to reach them. And when my parents call me and I don’t answer, they know I am a sweet girl and will return call the moment I get free (smiles). Tension ki koi baat nahin (there is no need to worry).”

However, Shivya ends with this admission, “As I said, I hate charging my phone, hence if there is a phone with a better battery life, I would immediately grab one.”

Here is your answer, Shivya.
