A month ago, we reported about Karan Mehra exiting from popular daily series Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (Directors’ Kut Productions) owing to health issues.
Post Karan’s exit, the maker has been hunting for the new male lead of the daily. Adding to this, there has been much buzz in the media as well about the probable names, who can replace Karan as Naitik.
Now, we hear from our sources that the search is finally over.
“Noted actor Vishal Singh of Dekh Bhai Dekh and Parvarrish 1 fame is all set to step into Karan’s shoes. Though the maker had many names in their mind, finally they roped in Vishal for the meaty role. By the end of August, the entire team will visit Switzerland, where Vishal’s entry will be shot”, adds our source.
Isn’t that great news to witness the talented actor paired opposite Hina Khan?
When we buzzed Vishal he did not want to comment on the same.
We have also dropped text messages to producer Rajan Shahi and the channel’s spokesperson, but have not received any revert till the time of filing the article.
