Colors’ popular show Thapki Pyar Ki (SOL and Shoonya Square) will see major developments over the coming days..
The first and the most important development will be of the main antagonist Dhruv (Ankit Bathla) having a changed heart, after crossing all limits of being vicious. Also, the man will feel so low in confidence after being the ‘bad man’ that he will excuse himself from the family and will prefer to live the life of a loner.
So where does this leave Ankit Bathla?
As per credible sources, “As of now, Dhruv’s character will come to an end. And Bathla will not be seen in the show for a while. The actor has already planned for his much-anticipated holiday abroad, and will be leaving soon. However this does not mean that Dhruv will not get back in the show. Though the script ahead is not yet clear, it appears as though Dhruv and Ankit will stage a comeback, probably later.”
Another major development that we have heard of is that, Thapki Pyar Ki will be aired at a one hour slot from September, that is after Ishq Ka Rang Safed goes off air (28 August). We hear that Thapki’s one hour episodes will go on for at least a month.
As reported already by Tellychakkar.com, the new show of Shashi Sumeet, Sangharsh will take the prime time slot of 10.30 PM, which will push Krishndasi (presently running at that time) to the 6.30 PM slot. So once Sangharsh is ready for launch, Thapki will get back to its original half an hour slot.
Also, the channel and makers will be sprucing up the story line by adding a new family.
As per credible sources, “Talented young lad Akash Talwar, last seen as lead in Channel V’s Mastangii has been roped in to play a prime character. His character will be of a NRI, who would want to live for himself, enjoy life the way he wants, even if it would mean by neglecting his own famly.”
Also, joining the cast will be Afzaal Khan, who essayed the role of Munna Singh in Life OK’s Piya Rangrezz.
We tried calling Ankit Bathla, and dropped him text messages, but he chose not to reply to our calls and messages.
Our efforts to get in touch with Akash remained futile.
We tried connecting with the channel spokesperson for a confirmation, but did not get any revert.
