Maninee Mishra joins the cast of Star Plus' Pardes...

Balaji Telefilms' Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil on Star Plus already has a very entertaining cast!! With Arjun Bijlani and Drashti Dhami playing the leads, viewers we are pretty sure are in for a super ride!! Now, we hear of talented actress Maninee Mishra joining the cast!! Maninee who was last seen in Zee TV’s Satrangi Sasural will play the mother of Laksh Lalwani. She will be a classy, sophisticated woman who would know to live life on her own terms. Also joining the show will be noted actor Rakesh Kukreti, who was last seen in Star Plus' Silsila Pyaar Ka. He will play father to Laksh and husband of Maninee’s character. When contacted, Maninee confirmed the news saying, “Yes, this is a big ticket show of Ekta and I am thrilled to be part of it. It’s a nice feeling to be working again with Drashti after our stint in Madhubala.” When contacted, Rakesh too confirmed the news saying, “Yes, I have joined the show. I have started shooting from today.” Earlier, actor Ashish Kaul was roped in to play father to Laksh. However, Ashish is not part of the show now, owing to creative reasons.
