Young heartthrob Abhishek Malik, who has won audience’s heart with his negative portrayal in MTV’s Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan, is all set to enthral audience in a new avatar.

The actor, who will be seen as the lead Ranveer in &TV’s upcoming venture Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi, told us that he will never be excited for his real life wedding.

Wondering why? Here we tell you..

“This will be my seventh marriage on TV. I don’t think I will be ever excited for real life wedding. I have not thought of marriage right now, as I am too focused on my career. Currently, I am committed only to my work,” said the actor.

He continued, “I am definitely looking for someone. I feel the fun zone of the life is gone, so I want somebody to be with. I respect people and I would want my partner to be the same.”

Talking about the excitement for his new journey, the good looking guy shared, “I was genuinely waiting for this show since eight months because I feel the concept of this show is very different. I have not seen a show which has two mother-in-laws staying in the same house. My character Ranveer is a cool dude, stud, which I was in my earlier show Yaariaan too. But how will Ranveer react and tackle when he will get trapped between his wife and two mother-in-laws, would be an interesting watch for the viewers. I can say that in this show I am playing myself. I have worked on myself too for this role. I was little bulky but I have shed some weight.”

On why he took up Ek Vivah, Abhishek told us, “The most important reason to pick up this show was Producer Nivedita Basu. She is like a sister and her show is like a baby. I have given my best to this daily. She is a guiding force. She messages me about my performances in each scene.”

Abhishek has portrayed both negative and positive roles on-screen, when we asked him about his preference, he quipped, “I feel you can play around with negative shades and portray different moods while playing a negative character. However, positive roles are also amazing to portray. I would prefer positive character.”

Lastly, Abhishek also shared that he would love to work with Sanjeeda Shaikh and Mouni Roy in furture.

“I have worked with Sanjee (she did a cameo in Bhagyalakshmi) and found her to be a very genuine girl and I like her. I would also like to work with Mouni Roy as I adore her and she is hot,” signed off the young lad.

We wish you great luck for your new endeavour, Abhishek!
