MUMBAI: Actress Yuvika Chaudhary, who has appeared in films like Om Shanti Om (2007), has started working for her next. A reliable source reveals that Chaudhary, 34, has bagged a plum project directed by Mahesh Manjrekar.
The National-Award winning filmmaker is returning to direction with a family drama starring Vidyut Jamwal, Shruti Hassan, and Sonal Chauhan.
TellyChakkar has exclusive information that the beautiful Yuvika, who participated in the 9th season of Bigg Boss, has started shooting for the project. She plays a pivotal family member in the story’s narrative but the details of her character have been kept under the wraps.
The actress, who also acted in the recently released film Veerey Ki Wedding, seems to be in a blissful phase currently. On a personal front, she is said to get married to her Bigg Boss inmate Prince Narula and her work side is lined up with interesting projects.
A little birdie reveals that the crew has almost completed the first schedule of the movie. The team is currently shooting in Goa.

The untitled project is said to be on the lines of the popular saga Devdas and Vaastav. The ensemble cast of the flick comprises of stellar actors like Naseeruddin Shah, Amol Palekar, Prateik Babbar and Jishu Sengupta. The project is helmed by Vijay Galani and Pratik Galani under their banner Galani Entertainments.
When we contacted Yuvika, she confirmed the news and said, "I'm very excited about the project but I can't divulge any information right now."
