MUMBAI: Chahat Khanna, who has appeared in a number of TV serials like Bade Achhe Lagte Hain and Qubool Hai and a few films, has accused ex-husband Farhan Mirza of abusing her sexually and mentally.
The actress said that she went through tough times because of financial and mental abuse and that the atmosphere in the house drove her mad. In addition, Farhan wrongly accused her of having an affair with a co-actor and created a mess out of it.
Chahat stated, ‘He bothered a lot during my pregnancy. Every second day, I was slut-shamed, as he questioned me if the babies were his.’
Farhan is the Chahat’s second husband, and she did not reveal anything about the abuse in the past due to the fear of being judged for the failure of her second marriage.
