Principal Mrs. Olivia Moraes, along with staff and students visited the set of Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chasmah. Mrs. Jasmina Tanna, PTA member and a proud parent of Naman Tanna, who is a student of this school, arranged this trip, as the students are huge fans of this show and dedicated follow it.
‘It is so gratifying to know that we have brought joy in the lives of one and all. When these children came to meet us, we all felt so very special. Their love and smiles were so genuine and pure. And believe me, they are all winners in their life. Never giving up. Salute to their parents too, for all the support and positive faith in their ability,’ says Dilip Joshi (Jethalal in the show), who was surrounded by the children.
Comments Asit Kumarr Modi, ‘It was a big group but we agreed because children wanted to come together with their teachers. They were all very happy and excited when they reached the sets. Until they were actually in Gokuldham Society, they were not very sure that they were being taken to our sets.’
Shailesh Lodha and Amit Bhatt aka Bapuji also had a great time with these kids. In fact it was through the efforts of Amit Bhatt that they could come on sets and enjoy their trip.
All the kids were overwhelmed to meet their favourite characters from the show and were mesmerized with Gokuldhaam Society. The children just couldn’t believe their eyes. None of them was ready to leave or bid goodbye to the characters!
Kartik Nadar, from standard III, couldn’t believe that these actors don’t stay there. He was wondering where the other family members were. When his teacher explained that there are no rooms and that this is only a set, his mouth fell open. Manav, a Std IX student, said ‘It was always my desire to see these actors in person, and visit Gokhuldam Society. Today, my wish is fulfilled. I am so excited!’

Principal Mrs Olivia Moraes said, ‘Taking our children on a surprise visit to the set of TMKOC was the icing on the cake of this year’s educational trip. To witness the shocked, astonished expressions of these special children was worth every effort. The happiness on their faces that day are forever etched in our memories. I am sure,the children are eternally grateful to TMKOC team for being so accommodating and generous with the photo sessions. Special thanks to Shri Asit Kumarr Modi for making it happen.’
