Solar eclipse stalls Balika Vadhu shoot?

The Balika Vadhu unit was supposed to shoot a major sequence today along with Maasa (Surekha Sikri) and the entire family following the kidnapping of Nandu (Basant and Gehna’s son) by Mahavir Singh. But apparently it didn’t happen because of the solar eclipse. Our source from the unit says, “Since Maasa decided to go to Mahavir’s place to bring back Nandu, we have very important scenes featuring her but since today is solar eclipse, Surekhaji informed us well in advance that she would not be shooting with us for a day. Therefore we got a day off today.” One of the actors from the show too confirms, “We are not shooting today for Balika Vadhu. I also heard it is because of the eclipse, but I do not know the exact reason for it.” Sikri was not comfortable shooting during the eclipse, so the unit decided to take an off and other actors were also informed about this break well in advance. However, rest of the members from the production house were working on their respective projects. There was also a buzz that Ekta Kapoor known for her religiousness was following all rituals around the eclipse but it was work as usual for all her production teams.
