TV couples are known to be open about thier relationship. And if they have tied the knot, then the media is full of reports of thier romantic getaways and exclusive pictures. But Mazher Sayed and Mouli Ganguly like to keep it private. Though they have been married for a year now, they haven’t spoken much about their relation but are happy being married. And on the professional front too, both of them are really happy. Mouli is all smiles as she is back on TV after a hiatus, while Mazher on the other hand has shared screen space (that too on the big screen) with Bipasha Basu and R Madhavan in Jodi Breakers. “They are not stars but simple human beings,” he says of the Bollywood stars. "I loved the marketing of the film and I love the way I was promoted through hoardings and publicity. Not very one is as lucky as I am. I could not believe that a TV star could get so much popularity on big screen,” smiles Mazher. Does this happiness signify that he will stay away from the small screen? “I would definitely love to come back to television,” he says, but adds that there are few films in the pipeline. So what sort of shows is he open to? He reveals that he is open to reality shows. "I and Mouli did Nach Baliye 4 together; if I do a show with her again she will take the limelight away,” jokes Mazher about sharing screen space with his wife. Mouli, on the other hand, would like to participate in a dance show but would not do something like Survivor India. Talking about Mouli, her happiness also knows no bounds as she made a comeback on TV with Kyaa Hua Tera Vaada on Sony Entertainment Television. “The role is different and fits me well. It’s not a grey character but rather a complex role,” she says of her role in this Balaji Telefilms’ show. Incidentally, post her marriage Mouli was offered many roles but she was waiting for the right offer. She goes on to say that she shares a healthy professional relationship with Ekta. “I have seen Ekta Kapoor grow. She knows which actor will suit a specific character and casts accordingly. Be it Ram Kapoor, Sakshi Tanwar or even myself, she takes us only if we fit the bill,” the actress says of the Balaji scion. Okay. Since the couple has been married for nearly a year, are they planning for a baby anytime soon? Mouli says she would like to wait as she is committed to work. Tellychakkar.com wishes the couple a love filled life ahead.
