And this time, it put the Mumbai police on high alert after receiving a mail from Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad. A 16-year-old boy sent a hoax mail to the Bandra Police claiming that a bomb is scheduled to be a blast at Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartments in Bandra.
According to a report in India Forums, the email read:
Bandra me Galaxy, Salman Khan ke ghar par agle 2 ghante me blast hoga, rok sakte ho to rok lo (There will be a blast at Galaxy, Salman Khan’s house in the next two hours. Try to stop it if you can).
The commissioner of police, Deputy Commissioner (zone 9), along with the bomb detection and disposal squad (BDDS) rushed to Galaxy Apartments to detect the explosive. While Salman was not present, the police evacuated Salim and Salma Khan, and sister Arpita.
