MUMBAI: Dhanush is currently busy with shooting of his upcoming film, which is tentatively titled D40. Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, the film features James Cosmo, Aishwarya Lekshmi and Kalaiyarasan in important roles. Touted to be a gangster story, the film is produced by Sashikanth under his banner Y Not Studios.
Recently, rumours were rife that the film has borrowed its title from MGR's famous flick, Ulagam Suttrum Vaaliban. However, the makers issued a press statement which said that the official title will be announced in February 2020.
Earlier it was reported that Dhanshu will be seen in a different avatar as he was spotted with moustache. The latest once, the leaked photo revealed an interesting piece of information regarding the film.
Actress Sanchana Natarajan, who was last seen in Vijay Deverakonda's NOTA, has been roped in to play one of the female leads in the film. Through the leaked posters, it is clear that Sanchana will play Dhanush's love interest in the flashback portions.
