Phir Subah Hogi ropes in seasoned Punjabi actress Vandana Singh

Panglosean Entertainment, Rajesh Chaddha and Saurabh Srivastava’s Phir Subah Hogi is all set to hit the tube on Zee TV from 17 April 2012 at 9.30pm. The makers have roped in some interesting names for the project, like Narayani Shastri and Varun Badola. The latest name to join the bandwagon is seasoned Punjabi actress Vandana Singh. She has been a part of the hit Punjabi daily soap on ETC Punjabi titled Ankhiyan Toh Door Jayen Na. She has also shared screen space with ex-Bigg Boss contestant, Claudia Ciesla, for an upcoming Punjabi movie Veer Pardesi (to release on 12 July 2012). Now, she will win hearts in Phir Subah Hogi. Vandana will be seen playing the role of Champa. She will be the only girl who will be having an affair and will stay away from the Sar Dhakai ceremony of the Thakurs. On the other hand, the female protagonist Sugni, played by newcomer Gulki Joshi, will always be in favour of Champa. Tellychakkar.com got in touch with Vandana and she said, “Actually it was not planned to take up a Hindi daily soap though I always dreamt of it. But recently I came down to Mumbai and my friend took me for the auditions and I was selected to play Champa. I always wanted to witness how Hindi TV industry works as I have earlier worked only in the Punjabi industry. And it’s great to get associated with this series.
