Amit Dolawat and Priya Ahuja in Shubh Vivah

Tellychakkar.com yesterday (23 April 2012) reported about Sony TV’s Shubh Vivah being under the scanner and in most probability, being taken off air. But the show is still on and we have learned that the makers (UTV Productions) have decided to bring in two new faces to make the plot more entertaining and appealing. And the new entrants are hot and handsome Amit Dolawat and sexy siren Priya Ahuja. Amit was last seen in Star Plus’ Sasural Genda Phool and Priya has featured in shows like Zaara, Ajeeb, Kumkum et al. They both will play important roles. Amit’s character name will be Amardeep. He will be staying abroad but will come back to India to take revenge on Amrit’s (Eijaz Khan) family. On the other hand, Priya will be seen as Sikha, Amrit’s sister, who will be 18 year old and will not respect her mother at all. Tellychakkar.com got in touch with Amit and he said, “I am shooting for Shubh Vivah today (24 April 2012). Though I don’t know exactly about the track but yes, Amardeep has entered to take revenge.” Priya Ahuja too confirmed her presence.
