Kartik Aaryan: Dostana will surely push the envelope

MUMBAI: Film producer Karan Johar recently announced that there will be a sequel to the 2008 film Dostana starring Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra and John Abraham. Since then, earlier this year, before the pandemic situation in the country, the lead cast of the film, Kartik Aaryan, Janhvi Kapoor and Lakshya began filming in Chandigarh. As Dostana 2 will feature actor Kartik Aaryan, in an interview recently, the actor opened up about his upcoming movie.

He told Deccan Chronicle that Dostana 2 will surely push the envelope. When asked if Kartik would do the same like how John Abraham showed off his sexy physique and lots more, the actor who will soon star in the 2008 film Dostana’s sequel said, 'There is still time for us to discuss this film. There is a long time to go, so let’s wait for the right time for me to be able to disclose it to you.'

During the interview, Kartik Aaryan revealed that as there is a long time to go for the film to hit theatres, he mentioned that he will talk about it only when the right time to disclose details will come. After talking about how there is still time for everyone to discuss Dostana 2, Kartik Aaryan continued, 'All I can say is that Dostana 2 will surely push the envelope.'
