MUMBAI: Jaya Bhattacharya has always impressed the audiences with her outstanding performances. The actress will now be seen in Colors' Pinjara Khoobsurti Ka. Jaya, who has already started shooting for the show, will be seen playing Omkar’s (Saahil Uppal) mother, Manjari in the show.

Commenting about the same, Jaya says, "It is an amazing feeling to be part of a show that highlights such an important message about what true beauty is. I love playing powerful characters, and in this show, I am playing the character of Manjari who is a very strong personality. Jaya also spoke about her equation with her on-screen son Saahil. She said, “Saahil and I understand each other really well, which is great because that is reflected in our performances. Our co-actors and our director have really appreciated our chemistry as a mother-son.”
