A post lockdown reunion for Alka Yagnik and Poonam Dhillon on the sets of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs

MUMBAI : Zee TV’s popular singing reality show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs has been wining  hearts of the audiences courtesy the amazing performances by the wonderful contestants. While the supremely talented kids have left no stone unturned to entertain the judges and the viewers, the special visits by celebrity guests on the show have truly been like a cherry on the cake. After welcoming the Kakkar siblings, the legendary composer Sajid Khan and the King of Comedy Govinda, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs is all set to host the famous and gorgeous actresses Padmini Kolhapure and Poonam Dhillon in the next episode. With such iconic beauties of B-Town in the house, the upcoming episode will see the contestants performing to popular and evergreen tracks to woo the judges and the guests. And looks like they surely impressed one and all.

Amidst all the fabulous performances and right after contestant Ranita and Aryananda’s sweet melodious performance to ‘Yashomati Maiyya se bole Nandlala’, Maniesh Paul got to revealing some interesting secrets from Poonam Dhillon, Padmini and  Alka Yagnik or what they popularly refer to themselves as members of a Girl gang. While the entire group usually catches up every now and then, Alka and Poonam’s reunion was a much awaited one and despite all precautions taken, the duo could not help but hug it out as soon as they came on stage. It was their first meeting post lockdown and just like every other group 'a selfie is a must'.

Spilling the beans and revealing a few secrets of Alka Yagnik, Poonam Dhillon mentioned how Alka is always the one to go home early and they would often call her 'thakeli' because she would be too tired to stay over for the whole night. In sharp contrast to her Poonam would never miss a party and would chill until morning with their entire group. Catching up on all that they missed, Poonam also revealed how a sly Alka would avoid singing the song 'Raahon mein unse Mulakat ho gayi' replacing it by singing Jan Gan Man for her. Fulfilling her dear friend’s wish Alka not just sang the song on stage but also called it a COVID song owing to their much awaited reunion.
